Founders Nick, Josh and Matteo met whilst working at The White Rabbit Pub in Oxford. Matteo is a lifelong pizza chef, having grown up working in his uncle’s pizzeria in Milan, and his pizzas soon led The White Rabbit to be rated the number 1. pizza restaurant in Oxfordshire on TripAdvisor.

The pub was receiving countless requests for a gluten-free alternative to Matteo’s scrumptious pizzas, so the boys started developing a thin, crispy, traditional Italian-style pizza that retained its deliciousness but didn’t contain any gluten. 

After a year of gathering feedback on their recipes from customers at the pub, all three founders felt that they now had a special product on their hands; one that was gluten-free, but tasted as good as its gluten-filled brethren.
